AC Shadows Introduces Bizarre Attack on Titan Event for Thanksgiving

In a bizarre collaboration that defies traditional forecasts, Ubisoft has revealed an digital crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the popular anime series Attack on Titan. The unusual holiday event operates from November 25 through December 22, providing complimentary additional story content for Shadows players.

Strange Questline Revealed

According to the official release, "An unusual encounter pulls characters Naoe and Yasuke into a original quest, where hints of prohibited practices and fearsome changes echo through the darkness." The storyline introduces a "unusually garbed woman named Ada" who charges the characters with traveling into the Crystalline Cavern—a important location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her ally from a hidden cult.

The questline centers on "peculiar experiments and a monstrous foe" and is available to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.

Familiar Settings and Changes

The teaser highlights the Underground Chapel from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was previously where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through ages. The teaser concludes with a dramatic moment showing a character, likely the prisoner, transforming into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.

Special Rewards and Additional Features

Players who finish the mission will acquire an exclusive katana in addition to multiple items concealed throughout the area in concealed chests. The update also contains in-store Attack on Titan item packs, featuring:

• Mikasa attire for Naoe
• Special arms
• Survey Corps vehicle

Newest Free Story Update

This release also adds the game's newest complimentary story addition, titled "The Enigma."
